Winter in Cyprus is brief, extending from mid/late December to early march and is heralded by the arrival of the snowbirds, namely the flamingoes who stop to feed in December and enjoy the mild winter weather.

The daytime temperatures are still pleasant enough to wander in shorts near the coast and walks along the beach following breakfast are a delight because you will not have to dodge in and out of sunbeds and umbrellas. Walk the Akamas Peninsula and discover the flora and fauna of this spectacular piece of coastline. Another challenging possibility is to play golf in the three golf places in Tsada, Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley.
